For the second year in a row,
Hellofood has won at the Ghana Information Technology & Telecom Awards,
formerly known as the Ghana Telecom Awards.
In the category for ‘Best Mobile App of
the year’, where OLX, Tonaton, Jumia, SlydePay and Hellofood where nominated,
the online food ordering platform gained the upper hand.
During the event, that took place at the
newly built Kempinski Hotel in Accra, 44 awards were given out to the change
makers and leaders of the telecom, IT and e-banking sector.
Sofiène Marzouki, Managing Director of
Hellofood Ghana, expressed his gratitude upon winning his second consecutive
award: “I am honored to collect the award for the second time. We have
consistently improved our service, making Hellofood one of the fastest growing
startups in Africa. We will continue to focus on adding value to our customers
and the online ecosystem. We have emphasized this year on internal optimization
and have proven that the addition of real-time tracking on the app, automation
during the entire process of the order and a solid customer experience are
accretive for Hellofood and the e-commerce industry in Ghana. I would like to
thank the entire Hellofood team for their hard work to achieve this and our
patrons for allowing us to provide them our service every day”.
Hellofood is an online and mobile platform
