BLAQ AFRICA TO EMBARK ON CHARITY PROGRAMME

Blaq Africa GH at a donation

Blaq Africa GH, one of the latest additions to modelling agencies in Ghana is set to embark on a charity programme in the last quarter of the year.

The programme themed “Cleanliness, Your Career, Your Goals” aims at offering pupils of the Mantse Tackie Liberty Avenue Cluster of Schools in Adabraka, a suburb of Accra, some guidance in making career choices. The agency also aims at educating pupils of the school on the need for a clean and hygienic environment whilst exposing them to the dangers of uncleanliness.

CEO, Alberta Antwi with a pupil
In an interview with the CEO of Blaq Africa GH., Ms. Alberta Antwi said “I just love giving back to society and I believe it is part of my responsibilities as a Christian to help those in need in society. I am just obeying the word of God.”

On why she chose this school for the project, Ms. Antwi said that she once met a past student of the school who told her stories of the challenges he went through as a student. Upon personal investigations, she found out the stories she had heard were not just tale but realities. She therefore took it upon herself to embark on this project to help meet some needs of the schools. “Some of the children are “Kayayoos” (head potters) and truck pushers.” She revealed.

The CEO made calls on individuals and organizations to be a part of the programme while quoting Luke 6:38 " Give and it shall be given to you. A good measure, press down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
